About Me
Intrapreneur, marketer, strategist, entrepreneur, innovator, leader, and rainmaker. These are all words that have been used to describe me at one point or another. But if you ask me, I’m just a guy who’s had some good times and some difficult times. And through it all, I’ve learned a thing or two that can help you on your own journey – whether in your business or personal life.
My Story
Since I was a young teenager, I’ve been working. It wasn’t always by choice. Mostly, my family needed extra income. But regardless of the reason, working has always been a part of my life. I’ve held a wide variety of jobs, from janitor to marketing executive, and I’ve learned a lot from each one.
I’m also no stranger to higher education. Even though I only had a GED, I went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in business. I later decided to pursue an MBA focusing on marketing, and I’m glad I did – it’s opened up many doors for me professionally.
In all honesty, my work experience and education have been two of the most significant factors in my success. They’ve taught me how to handle difficult situations, deal with different types of people, and think on my feet. I’m grateful for everything they’ve taught me, and I hope to continue learning throughout my career.
Working as an executive and consulting for businesses of all sizes, from startups to some of the biggest companies on the planet, has allowed me to see the good, bad, and ugly of business from all sides.
I created and launched an incredibly successful customer membership subscription program in my last position. It was the highlight of my career. The program generated hundreds of millions of dollars per year, over 30% of the company’s total revenue. Customers and Wall Street loved it, propelling the stock price and leading to a $9 billion acquisition by one of the largest private companies in the world.
Then my world changed. I was diagnosed with Guillain Barrė Syndrome, a rare autoimmune disease that caused temporary paralysis and a host of other health issues. In and out of hospitals, struggling with the most basic of daily living, I had given up on ever being able to lead a “normal” life and do the things I had done before. As a result, I lost my career and my sense of purpose.
It’s been a long road back, but I finally feel like myself again. Slowly but surely, through sheer determination and hard work, I’ve regained my strength and my mobility.
After much contemplation and meditation, I decided to share my extensive knowledge and experience through this website to help others live their best lives, whether in their business or their personal life.
